Search Engine Optimisation
What is Search Engine Optimisation? (SEO)
Base definition: Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results. Other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) target paid listings. In general, the earlier (or higher on the page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search[1], news search and industry-specific vertical search engines. This gives a website web presence.

SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
SEO should be considered part of your internet marketing strategy, and essential in ensuring you can be found when someone uses a Search Engine to search for information on the internet. SEO techniques and practices can range from basic tagging/title of images, to complete content SEO which can incorporate altering html code and content, capturing the keywords density with the content coupled with the hidden (meta) tags that exist in the page code.
Four Way Balance
We like to think that there is a four way balance when it comes to SEO. We can’t reveal what exactly that is, but we do know it has worked for our client training. THAT’s right, we train you, our client, on how best to maximise your SEO profile on the net using your very own website. This is not to say that we have clients who find they have better things to do, and prefer that we do it all for a monthly fee. At the very least, our clients understand what it takes to market their product and services using SEO as part of the over Marketing Strategy.
