Adobe are about to launch something that only Adobe could come up with. AMDM – Adobe Museum of Digital Media is the latest release brainstorm by Adobe Inc. Appropriately, the digital world is about to get it’s own platform that will showcase how digital media is used (and bent) with the Adobe Master Suite, and some extremely ingenious uses of the products we use as developers every day.

Check it out, there is a prelude video, and the announcement of the first Digital Media Artist: Tony Ourlser, a truly incredible Digital Artist, the showcase of his work speaks for itself.

What can we say? Except Finally, a return to the original MK roots! Check out this promo Video for the prelaunch of Mortal Kombat.  The return of Fatalities is just the best news since …well…MK3 showcased on PS1 and Super NES. New feature, X-Ray Damage, totally cool, each character with its own unique damage direction. Cyrax looks off the hook, and Kung Lao’s Hat Rotator Saw Fatality is “sick” (awesome). The Arena’s of old make a welcomed returned, but tuned up to look how they should have looked had the technology been available 15 years ago.

Now, if only Ed Boone would bring back SubZero of MK3 Fame, then I would be one happy Kombatant.

YouTube porting no longer works

Flash, New, Technology, Videoon April 8th, 2010No Comments

By now, some of you may have noticed your custom built video players that port YouTube videos from the YouTube site no longer work. You may notice they will preload the image on the file from YouTube, but a small red error text in the top left corner now appears?

If that is the case, unfortunately, you are one of the many who will need to upgrade to our New YouTube API approved Flash Video Streamer. This is a decision by Google/YouTube and is beyond our control. The new player installation will vary depending on how your system is programmed into your SiteAdmin. An hourly rate of $120.00 will be charged with an estimated 3 hours Maximum to install.
