6 days to Abobe CS 5
From what we have seen on the web, CS5 is probably one of the most anticipated releases from Adobe to date. Some of the editing features in Photoshop alone are breath-taking, pretty much what we have wanted for years will now be possible in the new Suite. Major differences: Flash as a stand alone app is no more. Flash Catalyst replaces what used to be Flash CS, and Flex 4 is now the main thrust behind Flashes online delivery Engine. More about this on a separate post.
The main feature we are extremely excited about is 64bit support which means a lot of our film work can be punched out in HD using Photoshop and Premier. Illustrator gets a few updates as well, but not as much as Photoshop, Premiere and Fireworks.
We will be attending the online launch this coming April 12, and will report “as we see” via our blog. There are a few secrets yet to be revealed by adobe, speculation as to what these will be are rife on the net with a million possible scenarios.
We welcome this upgrade and can’t wait to get our hands on the Creative Suite Masters Collection.
